Fernando Torres retires from International Football after eighteen years of career
Fernando Torres is set to close draperies over his 18-year long football vocation, the footballer declared on Friday. Spanish forward Torres has spoken to top clubs like Atletico Madrid, Liverpool and Chelsea and is at present carrying out his specialty in J-League at Sagan Tosu.
35-year-old Torres has in his possession a FIFA World Cup triumph, two Euro Championships titles, one Champions League and two Europa League trophies.
"Following 18 energizing years, the opportunity has arrived to put a conclusion to my football profession," Torres composed on Twitter.
Torres has reported that he is set to have a question and answer session next Sunday in Tokyo, where he will "clarify every one of the subtleties".
In his club profession, Torres has scored 260 objectives in 765 appearances with his most productive spells being at Atletico Madrid and Liverpool.
Torres, in two stages, made 394 recreations for Atletico Madrid and scored 128 objectives. At Liverpool, Torres burned through four seasons scoring 81 objectives in 142 appearances. He spoke to Chelsea in 172 amusements, finding the back of the net multiple times.
Torres is Spain's third most astounding goalscorer and played for the national group from 2003-2014 scoring 38 objectives in 110 appearances.
When Torres settled on his choice known on Twitter, fans began remembering the invigorating snapshots of his vocation and tributes poured in for the Spanish forward.
